Description
Where the blade meets the handle, a turned silver collar marks the join — a small, precise detail that signals the level of craft behind the whole piece. The handle is hand-finished in deep black; the blade runs clean and mirror-polished above it. Unified in tone, deliberate in form. This knife does not announce itself — it simply holds its presence on the table.
Made by artisans of Pilimathalawa, Kandy, where metalwork is a discipline inherited rather than acquired. Each piece is finished by hand; slight variation in handle surface and collar finish is the nature of the craft, not a defect.
