Description
A serving spoon that earns a second look. The bowl is deep and spherical, mirror-polished, designed to move food cleanly and generously. The handle runs long and slender — hand-forged — narrowing toward a twisted wire wrap and ending in an open loop ring. It is the kind of detail that only makes sense when the maker has both the patience and the skill to execute it. At the table or hanging in the kitchen, it holds its presence effortlessly.
Made by artisans of Pilimathalawa, Kandy, where metalwork is a discipline inherited rather than acquired. Each piece is finished by hand; slight variation in the wire wrap and loop is the nature of the craft, not a defect.
