Description

The same hand-cast brass handle that defines the Brass Handle Table Knife — warm gold, gently tapered, bearing the subtle marks of hand-finishing — now paired with a mirror-polished teaspoon bowl. Together they form a coherent set; individually, each piece holds its own. The contrast between the warm brass and the cool steel bowl is as considered at this scale as it is at the table knife’s.

Made by artisans of Pilimathalawa, Kandy, where consistency across a range is as much a mark of craft as the individual pieces themselves. Each piece is finished by hand; slight variation in handle tone and surface is the nature of the craft, not a defect.
